Whether he’s doing an on-stage set, appearing on a talk-show, or going to the gym, the comedian is always donning a black, often v-neck t-shirt.
Often, he’ll be a little more adventurous and opt for a long-sleeved version, but apart from that, he loves black t-shirts more than Steve Jobs loves turtlenecks.
With a reported net worth of $160 million (£127 million), according to Celebrity Net Worth, you’d think that he’d be able to afford to switch things up from time to time.
However, The Office star has ironically explained why he has always dressed the same.
Taking to Instagram with a picture of him wearing a black t-shirt (again) he wrote: “When I was really poor, I got so fed up having only t-shirts and old sweat pants to wear that I tried to make a suit out of curtains.

“Now I can afford to wear anything I want. I could have suits made for me.
“But I decided I prefer t-shirts and old sweat pants.”
Commenting on the admission, one fan quipped: “I made a suit out of a pair of curtains too, sometimes you just need to pull yourself together.”
Many others went and thanked Gervais for what he does for animals, thinking it could explain why he appears to dress very sustainably.
Last year, the comedian donated £1.9 million to animal charities raised from ticket sales from his Armageddon world tour.
This comes after the stand-up has said, on many occasions, that he genuinely prefers animals to humans.
During a 2023 appearance on The One Show, he brought along his German Shepherd dog Anti, who appears in his emotional After Life Netflix series.

“Honestly, nothing breaks my heart more than pets being separated from their owners,” he said.
“I can’t stand to think of an animal in discomfort, let alone hurt.
“Even the slightest bit of discomfort – I just can’t stand it. I want every animal to be as happy as Anti.”
“They’re just better than people. No offence,” he continued.
“They’re members of the family. They’ve got so much compassion. I mean, dogs do everything for us. They guard us, they guide us, they can smell cancer.
“They’re incredible. You couldn’t invent something as good as a dog. They’re amazing.
“And look at them, they’re perfect. What’s not to love?”

There’s plenty of ‘miracle’ anti-ageing products out there, but these gummies might just be worth the hype.
NMN (nicotinamide mononucleotide) is a bit of a buzzword in the world of anti-ageing at the moment. Or you might have heard of the abbreviation NAD (nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide). But don’t let those long and technical names put you off.
Both have quickly become a must-have with celebrities such as Joe Rogan, The Kardashians and Hailey Bieber reportedly big fans.

And even though they’ve been hooking themselves up to NAD IV drips, there is a way for us to benefit from the supplement here in the UK and thankfully there are no needles or injections involved.
If you’re looking for an easy and tasty way to get some of the same benefits that the celebs have been getting, Orange County’s NMN Gummies have just hit the market. And when we found out that you could take what is thought to be ‘the miracle molecule’ in the form of gummies, we were certainly intrigued.
I mean, who wouldn’t want to take all their vitamins and supplements in gummy form?
Here’s what you need to know about the latest anti-ageing supplement and why it might be beneficial to you.
What is NMN?
First of all, it’s important to break down what NMN means and according to Healthline, “at specific doses, NMN supplements may help improve insulin sensitivity and heart function and reduce tiredness with few side effects.” But as with any supplement or vitamin that you might be thinking about taking, it’s a good idea to consult your GP or pharmacist before doing so.
NMN is a molecule that our bodies make naturally and while research is still ongoing, it is thought to help with brain and heart health, sleep, memory and a few chronic conditions.

And Orange County’s NMN Gummies make taking the supplement so much easier.
If you’ve ever struggled to swallow numerous chalky tablets as you try to take your daily vitamins and supplements, you’ll know how quickly that becomes rather off-putting and stops you from making it a part of your daily routine. Whereas, these mixed fruit-flavoured gummies definitely go down a lot easier.
The reason that the celebs have been flocking to try this particular supplement is the fact that it is reported to slow down the ageing process, with some claiming that it can slow down or reverse the natural signs of ageing such as hair thinning and loss and skin elasticity and firmness.
How much do the gummies cost?
The Orange County NMN Gummies are priced at £26.99 for a tub of 30 gummies. Or, you can save 20% on every order if you buy them via their subscription, making each tub just £21.59 or 80p a gummy.
And if you’re still not sure if they’re for you, they also have a 30 day money back guarantee, allowing you to try them out to see if you notice any difference to your overall energy levels and skin or hair.

Netflix must think we all need a bit more laughter in our lives with the way it’s churning out comedy specials.
Ricky Gervais‘ Armageddon landed on the streaming platform on Christmas Day and another comedian is hot on his heels with his own show.
Although he doesn’t appear scared of the competition, it seems Gervais is well aware of the old saying – keep your friends close and your enemies closer.
That’s because the 62-year-old is seemingly looking to forge an alliance with his comic rival from across the pond who could roar past him on Netflix‘s rankings.
He suggested that him and Dave Chappelle – who has just dropped his ‘freewheeling and unfiltered stand-up comedy special’ The Dreamer on the streaming platform – should ‘host the Oscars together’.
Gervais has already got experience thanks to earning the illustrious presenting gig at The Golden Globes a handful of times – although it’s his jokes behind the podium in 2020 for his final hosting stint that everyone remembers.

Likewise, Chappelle isn’t a hosting newbie either – as he can comfortably handle taking the reigns of the legendary US sketch comedy show Saturday Night Live.
The 50-year-old has already released six comedy specials – but his seventh, The Dreamer, focuses on his journey to stardom.
Chappelle has previously sparked controversy due to his jokes directed at the LGBTQ+ community during his 2021 special The Closer.
And Gervais’ comedy special Armageddon received a similar reception due to one of his gags about terminally ill children – even prompting people to launch a petition to get Netflix to remove it from the hour-long show.
But the Derek star has shared his belief that he and Chappelle would be the perfect duo to present this year’s Oscars in March.
Sharing a screenshot of the Netflix rankings showing Armageddon at number one and The Dreamer in second place, Gervais wrote in a post on X: “We should host the Oscars together.”

And some social media users were thrilled by the prospect, but others warned ‘they’d end up cancelling television’.
One person said: “Would be the highest television audience in history. Aliens in distant galaxies tuning in.”
Another wrote that they would ‘actually watch the Oscars if you did’.
A third added: “It would be the most watched but then they would have to close it down.”
And a fourth chimed in: “Oscars would go out with a bang. That would be the best TV ever.”
